TINKER—The chief master sergeant of his branch of the military services—the highest -ranked enlisted man in the U.S. Air Force—made a visit yesterday to Tinker on “an immersion tour.”
CMSgt. Keith O. Wright met with airmen from various units “to get a better understanding of Tinker’s diverse mission as the supporting installation for readiness,” a statement released by the Oklahoma City air base said.
As the military branch’s highest ranked enlisted man, CMSgt. Wright provides advise to senior officers on policies that are in the best interests of Air Force enlisted men.
He is the personal advisor on enlisted men matters to the Air Force chief of staff and the secretary of the Air Force
These issues include the welfare, readiness and morale of the military branch’s enlisted force.
