She’ll Carry Forward Obama’s Legacy

Hillary Rodham Clinton—a former U.S. senator and secretary of state—offers the best hope of carrying forward the legacy of President Barack Obama, and, therefore, should be elected to the office of the presidency on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
That is the largest reason for our endorsement of her candidacy today
.Mrs. Clinton served with distinction during her tenure as secretary of state. Her accomplishments in that position, alone, could serve as basis for our endorsement.
As secretary of state, she helped President Obama steer our nation out of the quagmire in the Middle East, itself caused, in part, by our ill-advised venture of invading Iraq, an invasion which she supported as a senator, but worked hard to overcome that mistake. As secretary of state, she was at the forefront of President Obama’s efforts to get out of that quagmire, orchestrate policies to deal with dictators in Libya and Syria, and to, in the end, hunt down, find and kill Osama bin Laden.
But there is a great deal more why Hilary Clinton earns our endorsement today.
