Janice Wilson Services Held On June 3

Janice Burrough Wilson, 76, who worked during her career as a truancy clerk for the Oklahoma City Public School System, died on May 28.

Mrs. Wilson operated Brandi’s Day Care Center for 30 years.

Funeral services were held on June 3 at the Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Rev. Racilus Douglas officiated.

Arrangements were handled by Temple & Sons Funeral Directors.

Janice Rochelle Burrough was born Jan. 15, 1940, in Guthrie to David and Aldine Burrough.

She attended Faver High School in Guthrie.

Mrs. Wilson was a longtime member of Mt. Olive Baptist, where she served on the decoration committee.

In addition, Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Golden Charms Social Club.

Mrs. Wilson was married three times: to Wilbur E. Campbell, Calvin Keller House and Alvin Wilson.

She is survived by seven daughters and a son.

Also, she is survived by four sisters, Marian Fields, Laura Smallwood, Viola Dalla and Alma Harrison .
