Johnson, 49, Convicted In Murder Case

Jurors on Wednesday chose the death penalty as punishment for an Oklahoma City man convicted of raping his girlfriend and her friend before fatally beating to death the friend.
The Oklahoma County jury deliberated less than an hour.
Last week, the jurors found Albert Ray Johnson, 49, guilty of one count of first-degree murder, one count of assault and battery with intent to kill, two counts of forcible oral sodomy, two counts of first-degree rape, two counts of forcible anal sodomy, two counts of kidnapping and one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
