Regent Named To Hall of Fame

Co-Founder of Student Inventors Exposition

MIDWEST CITY—Betty J.C. Wright, a longtime member of the Board of Regents of Rose State College, will be inducted into the Oklahoma Educators Hall of Fame.

Mrs. Wright will be inducted during ceremonies to be held at a banquet scheduled for August.

Regent Wright was appointed to the Rose State regents board in 1991, and has been reappointed three times for seven-year terms.

As a regent, she has served as chairman and has held every other board officer position.

She is the co-founder of the Oklahoma Student Inventors Exposition.

She is an active member of the Association of Community College Trustees..

Mrs. Wright was presented She received the the George Washington Honor Medal for Excellence in Economic Education in 1988 and the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics Teaching.
