Hantman & Associates Issue Cease and Desist Over Defamatory Claims in Kim Porter Memoir

September 27, 2024 — Hantman & Associates, representing R&B artist Al B. Sure! (Albert Joseph Brown III), has issued a cease-and-desist letter to author Todd Christopher Guzze and Amazon. The firm demands a retraction and apology over the distribution of the memoir Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice from the Other Side, which they allege contains false and defamatory claims about Al B. Sure!’s personal life, particularly regarding fabricated sexual conduct involving Sean Combs and Kim Porter.
