Community March to the Polls to Vote Early in the General Election

The Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church, located at 1020 N.E. 42nd Street in Oklahoma City, in partnership with other Community and Civic Organizations will be hosting a “Souls to the Polls” march on Saturday, November 2, 2024.

A rally will begin at 9:00am, and following the program participants will walk 0.8 miles to the Oklahoma County Election Board, located at 4201 N. Lincoln Blvd.  Upon arrival at the Oklahoma County Election Board, registered voters will be able to cast their vote early for the upcoming election.

“This is an event that has been held every two years, with the inaugural event taking place in 2008.  With all that is at stake at the ballot box locally and nationally we are endeavoring to make 2024 the largest event to date,” says Joshua A. Busby, Social Justice Ministry Director at the Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church.  The general public is invited to come out and be a part of this auspicious event.
