Legendary Music Producer Quincy Jones Passes Away at 91

Quincy Jones, one of the most powerful forces in American music and the entertainment industry, died on Sunday at his home in Bel Air, California. He was 91.

Jones was a groundbreaking producer who collaborated with some of the biggest stars in music and film, including Michael Jackson. Together, they created several albums, including Thriller, the record-breaking success that became the best-selling album of all time and redefined pop music.

His death was confirmed in a statement by his publicist, Arnold Robinson, which did not mention a cause. The statement noted that Jones had passed away peacefully at his home.

Jones’ passing marks the end of an era, but his influence on music, film, and the broader entertainment industry will be felt for generations to come. He remains a giant whose legacy transcends genre, race, and time.
