Howard’s SpringFest Returns with Fashion and Creativity

This year’s annual Spring Student Fashion Show, “MADHOUSE,” brought students back together in a circus themed event. The high-toned production was like no other, showcasing the eccentric stylings of Howard’s finest designers and models included. This event marks the comeback of SpringFest’s in-person fashion show since 2020.

Aquil Starks, Jr. spoke with model and junior PR major, Mycah Hart-Powell, who walked the MADHOUSE runway. And with Howard senior Graham Peyton, one of the show’s 12 featured designers, who spoke on the impact of Virgil Abloh and inequalities Black designers face in the fashion industry.
