Hollywood Live: The Daytime Emmys are back on Friday

After a six-month delay because of the strike, the Daytime Emmys are being broadcast on CBS. And guess what? I’m being honored.

I am so excited. I’m being inducted into the Emmys Gold Circle. It’s a new honor for folks who’ve had a long, exciting, and impactful career. I guess that would be me.

Anyway, as a refresher, “General Hospital” pulled in the most nominations with an impressive 19 nods and classic soaps, “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “The Young and the Restless,” and “Days of Our Lives,” racked up 14, 13, and 11 nominations, respectively.

In the talk show arena, Kelly Clarkson’s show earned a whopping 11 nominations, and my favorite, Sherri Shepherd’s “Sherri,” was also nominated. I can’t wait to see Sherri and give her a big hug.

Yes, I am so excited, and I will be posting lots of photos on AURN’s Instagram (@aurnonline). Check it out.
