OKLAHOMA CITY — Two Douglass High School students were taken into custody on Monday after being found with a gun on campus.
School administrators promptly responded to a report about the possible presence of a weapon at the school, implementing a full-building search and screening all students using metal detectors, according to Oklahoma City Public Schools (OKCPS).
The weapon was found and there were no injuries. The student who brought the firearm to school was detained, along with another student who will be charged for passing the weapon back and forth.
