Scott “Wyldchild” Wright Celebrates 31 Years with PPBC

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Black Chronicle congratulates Scott Wright – better known as “The Wyldchild” on 31 years with Perry Publishing and Broadcasting Co., and 35 years of radio experience in total.

Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Wright knew from an early age that radio was his destiny.  His signature catchphrase, “Throw ya hands up, throw ya legs up,” has made him a household name and built a loyal audience who connect with his motto to live, laugh and love.

During his career, Wright has interviewed the Godfather of Soul, James Brown.  Last year, he was named one of the Men of Color Influencers of the Year.
