Spencer Chamber of Commerce and Perry Publishing Announce Partnership

SPENCER, Okla. — The Spencer Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce a new partnership with Perry Publishing & Broadcasting Company, the largest independent minority owned and operated radio broadcasting company in the U.S.

The purpose is to strengthen the visibility, connectivity, and economic vitality of Spencer by leveraging Perry Publishing & Broadcasting’s reach and the Spencer Chamber of Commerce’s community network.  This partnership will create consistent exposure for Spencer businesses, promote local events, and highlight civic leadership while providing engaging, community-centered collaborations and will expand opportunities for entrepreneurs.  The Chamber’s mission as set forth by Chamber President Daeshon C. Bufford is “to deeply immerse ourselves in the community, rebuild trust, and foster meaningful relationships with the people of Spencer.”

“Together, we’ve worked tirelessly to create a fresh start and a brighter future for our beloved city,” said Bufford.  “We are creating meaningful opportunities that empower businesses and elevate community voices.”  

Bufford is a committed leader in the energy field with a strong focus on community engagement and strategic development.  He currently serves as President of the Spencer Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce, Chair of BLOG (Black Leaders of ONEGas), and Chair of the Programs Committee for the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE).  A proud graduate of the University of Tulsa, Bufford champions inclusive leadership, civic growth, and impactful partnerships that uplift underserved communities.
