A Glendale man was sentenced Monday, Nov. 16, to seven years in federal jail for working a sequence of pretend bank card and mortgage scams, the Division of Justice reported.

From 2014 to 2017, Mikayel Hmayakyan, 43, used fraudulently-obtained bank cards to purchase liquor and cemetery plots price thousands and thousands of {dollars}, and later offered them for a revenue, a division information launch acknowledged.
