The “First Lady of Gospel,” Pastor Shirley Caesar, has been a pillar in the gospel music industry for over 50 years. Since the start of her music career as a member of The Caravans, Caesar has continued to provide music that touches hearts and points all to the Savior. “All Of The Glory,” her newest single, reminds listeners that it is God who deserves the glory and praise. This latest single marks the final collaboration with her longtime music producer and business partner, Michael Mathis, prior to his passing in February.
Christian Rapper Lecrae Cast as Angel Gabriel in “Journey to Bethlehem”
Grammy Award-winning artist Christian rap artist Lecrae is set to star in a new Christmas movie called “Journey to Bethlehem.” The movie follows the story of Mary’s journey to Bethlehem and the birth of Jesus. Lecrae will be playing the role of the angel Gabriel. The movie also stars Antonio Banderas as King Herod. Fiona Palomo plays Mary and Milo Manheim plays Joseph. The director is Adam Anders, who is known for his work on the TV show “Glee.” The movie is set to be released on November 10th.
Steeple Awards 2023 Introduce “Harvest Fest”
The Steeple Awards 2023 “Harvest Fest” concert is a pre-Thanksgiving gospel music celebration featuring an all-start lineup of gospel artists, including DeWayne Woods, Earnest Pugh, Angel Taylor, Monica Lisa Stevenson, Latice Crawford, and others. The event is made possible through a collaboration between The City of Morrow and the organizers of The Steeple Awards and will take place at The Morrow Center in Atlanta, GA on Saturday, November 4th at 4:00pm. Harvest Fest is free to attend and for those wanting a more exclusive event, there’s a VIP Purple Carpet Experience for $75 that includes admission to the Purple VIP Room, photo opportunities, and VIP concert seats.
Todd Dulaney’s “The Journey” Drops This Month
“The Journey,” the latest album from former pro-baseball player turned gospel artist Todd Dulaney, is set to be released on October 27, 2023. The project features guest artists including Bishop Hezekiah Walker, Darrell Walls, Tim Godfrey, and Jabari Johnson, and is a reflective of Dulaney’s own journey and foundation in God. Dulaney is currently promoting the new project while on the “Believe For It Tour,” headlined by Cece Winans.

Dr. Earl Bynum Jr. Bids Farewell to His Beloved Father
Dr. Earl Bynum Jr., Stellar Award-winning gospel singer and choir director, mourns the passing of his beloved father Earl M. Bynum, Sr., affectionately known as “Big Earl.” Bynum Sr. was the fourth child born to Gilbert and Mable Bynum in South Hampton County, VA. In later years, he became a member of New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church and married his high school sweetheart Geneva, to whom he remained devoted to for 58 years. To this union was born Earl Bynum Jr. and Angela Bynum Bryant. Byrum Sr. passed away on October 5, 2023. His celebration of life was held on Friday, October 13, 2023, at 11:00 AM, New Mount Zion Baptist Church in Franklin, Virginia.
