Jeremih appears to be on the up and up amid his current battle with COVID-19.
In a statement to Entertainment Tonight, the singer’s family shared that the 33-year-old singer has been moved out of the hospital’s intensive care unit.
“Jeremih has been transferred out of ICU. He will spend the rest of his recovery time in a regular hospital room, the statement read. “The true healing begins. Thank you all for your prayers and wishes.”
This news comes just days after the “Birthday Sex” singer’s agent revealed that he had been taken off of the ventilator.
“J was just pulled off the ventilator. He’s still in ICU in critical condition,” his rep told Variety on Thursday, November 19.
It was first reported that Jeremih, born Jeremy Felton, was hospitalized on November 14, which prompted an outpouring of support and well wishes from his famous colleagues like Chance The Rapper, 50 Cent, Big Sean and more.
