(The Center Square) – Two presidential debates will happen in Pennsylvania, according to the Trump campaign.
Former President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social over the weekend that Harrisburg and Philadelphia will host two debates between he and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Trump said the first debate will be “live from the beautiful Harrisburg” on Sept. 4 on Fox News. He also confirmed another event scheduled for Sept. 10 in Philadelphia on ABC. A third is scheduled for Sept. 25 in Grand Rapids, Mich., on NBC.
Among the networks, only ABC has confirmed the date.
Trump also took a shot at both ABC and NBC, calling the outlets “fake news.” No times for the debate have been announced.
In a statement to Newsweek, the Harris campaign said it only agreed to the ABC debate, noting that any others “would be subject to Trump actually showing up.”
Both campaigns have spent a lot of time over the last several weeks rallying across Pennsylvania; Trump visited Harrisburg on July 31 and Harris, along with Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, campaigned in Philadelphia on Aug. 6.
