WATCH: Shapiro says gun violence ‘needs to end’ after Minneapolis shooting

(The Center Square) – Gov. Josh Shapiro said the government has “a lot more work to do to keep our kids safe.”

“This needs to end,” he said. “This is not normal and it doesn’t have to be this way.”

The comments came as the governor fielded a question about a shooting at Aunnunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis that left two children dead and wounded 18 others on Wednesday.
