(The Center Square) – Nine days after an arsonist firebombed the Governor’s Residence in Harrisburg, the state’s First Family welcomed visitors for the annual Easter Egg Hunt.
Gov. Josh Shapiro said it was important to him to host the event, even as a remidiation crew sifts through the damage caused on April 13 when a 38-year-old Harrisburg man set the mansion’s dining and piano rooms ablaze with molotov cocktails.
Shapiro and his family, while asleep upstairs, were unharmed.
