EPA employees demand jobs back

More than 30 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency employees from Chicago are demanding they be reinstated to active duty.

The 31 employees say they were put on administrative leave after signing a letter of dissent against what they said were the Trump administration’s efforts to politicize the agency.

The group was joined by Democratic elected officials, the ACLU and the Sierra Club in Chicago Monday morning.
