Lincoln photograph to be unveiled

The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield will be unveiling a 165-year-old photograph of the former president. A museum official says the photo was taken in 1858 of Lincoln after he gave a speech in Pittsfield during his U.S. Senate campaign.

The family who donated the picture are descendants of a man who was injured while trying to load a cannon at the event. The photo will be on display at the museum beginning on Monday, Oct. 2.
