WATCH LIVE: Illinois State Police hold first public hearing on gun ban registration

(The Center Square) – The Illinois State Police are holding three public hearings about the state’s gun ban and registry this week.

The first hearing will be live in Springfield beginning at 9:30 a.m. Watch here:

Friday, the second hearing will be in Chicago. That will be livestreamed here at 9:30 a.m. Friday morning.

A third hearing will be at Caseyville Community Center at Village Hall in Caseyville, Illinois, Monday, Nov. 6, at 9:30 a.m.

To provide public comment, Illinois State Police say the person must do so in person and must have summited a completed witness slip by Nov. 1. Details on that process are found here.
