(The Center Square) – A Generation Z-led social welfare organization distributed condoms with a crude slogan to denounce former President Donald Trump’s connection to Project 2025 at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
Voters of Tomorrow is a group that engages, educates and represents young Americans in politics and government, according to its website.
Many of the group’s condoms ended up on the sidewalk outside McCormick Place.
Trump has distanced himself from the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025 even though the organization included some of his former staffers. Project 2025 created a blueprint for what it hopes will be a conservative administration next year. That blueprint consists of a policy agenda, personnel, training, and a 180-day playbook, according to the organization’s website.
Jack Lobel, of Voters of Tomorrow, said the message was simple: “48 million women would lose access to emergency contraception if Donald Trump has his way and implements Project 2025.”
Project 2025 did not respond immediately on Thursday morning.
