Rogers campaign has outraised Republican opponents in Michigan’s U.S. Senate race

Mike Rogers has raised the most money in the Republican primary for U.S. Senate in Michigan, taking in 1.86 million since the start of the campaign cycle.

Rogers raised $1.04 million in the fourth quarter of 2023. Sandy Pensler has raised the next most in the GOP primary, with $1.05 million since the start of the campaign. This fundraising is from the fourth quarter alone.

The primary will take place on Aug. 6. Thirteen candidates, including those who have dropped out, raised a combined $4.18 million through Dec. 31, 2023. Looking at all 125 congressional battlegrounds we are tracking, this is more than the average of $3.41 million.

Four candidates raised a combined $101.25 million running for U.S. Senate in Michigan in 2020, while 10 raised $35.99 million in 2018.

Looking at Rogers and Pensler alone:

679 donors donated to Rogers’ campaign last quarter.Of those 679, the largest share, 290 (43%), donated over $1,000.Two donors donated to Pensler’s campaign last quarter. Of those two, one donated between $100-$499, while the other donated over $1000.
