Abortion-rights amendment clear for Ohio’s November ballot

(The Center Square) – Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose certified Tuesday more than enough signatures for a proposed constitutional amendment that would guarantee the right to an abortion appear on the November general election ballot.

A proposed amendment that would legalize recreational marijuana use in the state fell 679 signatures short and organizations have 10 days to collect that number of signatures not contained on the original or supplemental petition.
