(The Center Square) – Ohio’s ballot for the November election is nearly set.
Secretary of State Frank LaRose released a list of candidates who met the requirements to appear on the statewide ballot with the final deadline less than two weeks away.
Seven people are listed as candidates for president and vice president, while three are on the ballot for U.S. Senate.
The deadline for LaRose to certify the official ballot to be used in all counties in the state is Sept. 6, 60 days before election day. Write-in candidates have until 11:59 p.m. Monday to file declarations with the Secretary of State.
Those currently appearing on the ballot for president and vice president include:
• Donald J. Trump and J.D. Vance.
• Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.
• Chase Oliver and Mike ter Maat.
• Richard Duncan and Mitchell Preston Bupp.
• Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Nicole Shanahan.
• Peter Sonski and Lauren Onak.
• Jill Stein and Anita Rios.
A designation of independent does not appear on the state’s ballot. Independent candidates can choose to appear as nonparty candidates or other-party candidates. There is designation for the tickets of Trump (Republican), Harris (Democratic) and Oliver (Libertarian).
On Friday, Kennedy ended his presidential campaign and endorsed Trump.
The state ballot for U.S. Senate includes:
• Bernie Moreno (Republican).
• Sherrod Brown (Democratic).
• Don Kissick (Libertarian).
