According to the Associated Press, Kendrick Lamar will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show next year. The NFL, Apple Music, and Roc Nation announced Sunday that Lamar will take the stage at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on February 9.
Lamar, who has won 17 Grammys and became the first non-classical artist to win a Pulitzer Prize for his album “DAMN,” said he is excited to represent hip-hop on the NFL’s biggest night. He previously performed at the Super Bowl in 2022.
Roc Nation’s Jay-Z described Lamar as a “once-in-a-generation” artist. Lamar’s latest album, “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers,” was released in 2022.
