The Stylistics will return to Carnegie Hall on October 11, for a night of music and showmanship. The legendary group cemented their place in pop culture in the 70s as a major force of the Philadelphia Sound, and they can’t wait to reconnect with fans on the iconic stage since last performing there in 1974.

“We are looking forward to doing a show for our fans, to performing for our fans the best that we can as we always do,” says Herb Murrell, a founding member of The Stylistics. “This concert will be our second time at Carnegie Hall and we look forward to performing there once again, knowing what it was like the first time, and feeling that excitement.”

The Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling group is responsible for classic ballads such as “You Are Everything,” “Break Up to Make Up,” “Betcha by Golly, Wow,” “People Make the World Go Round,” and more that dominated the charts in the ‘70s, earning lifelong fans, and touching generations that followed.

The band includes original group members, Airrion Love and Herb Murrell, along with Jason Sharp as they continue to tour around the world. The Carnegie Hall show is a stop on their Falling in Love With My Girl Tour.

“Once we finish the concert at Carnegie Hall, we will start our European/UK tour, Murrell tells AURN. “We’ll be in the UK and other parts of Europe for a few weeks and then after that we’ll be on our Far East tour, going places like Japan and Hawaii. God willing, we’ll do our normal tour that we do each year.”
