All Eyes on Texas Senate Race

(AURN News) — Early voting has ended in Texas, as attention shifts to Election Day in the U.S. Senate race.

On the Democratic side, Rep. Jasmine Crockett leads state Rep. James Talarico, according to the latest poll conducted by The Texas Politics Project. The survey shows Crockett ahead 56% to 44%.

On the Republican side, the race remains tight. The poll shows Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton leading with 36%, followed by U.S. Sen. John Cornyn at 34% and Rep. Wesley Hunt at 26%.

Hunt is the only Black candidate in the Republican primary.
