The Supreme Court has given the the green light to start enforcing a ban on transgender Americans serving in the . Again, with no explanation, the conservative majority halted a lower court’s injunction that had blocked the ban, allowing Trump’s new Department of rules to take effect immediately.

The policy bars anyone diagnosed with or even showing signs of gender dysphoria from serving — and that includes thousands already in uniform. Think about that. People trained, deployed and honored now face discharge — not for conduct or capability, but for identity.

And it is happening despite a federal judge’s findings that trans troops have served openly for years without harming readiness. In fact, data shows their presence enhanced it. But Trump’s says they are a threat to cohesion. Yet there is no evidence, no disruption — just political discrimination dressed up as military necessity.
