Black Entrepreneurs Take Center Stage in Gainesville

(AURN News) — Florida Black businesses will be coming together for the Gainesville Black Business Expo Weekend.

Scheduled for July 17-18, organizers say the goal is to bring nonprofits, social organizations and entrepreneurs together to strengthen the community.

The expo will take place Saturday and feature live music, food and gift card giveaways.

“The Expo floor will be packed with 70 incredible businesses, nonprofit organizations, and social organizations showcasing their products, services, resources, and the amazing impact they make throughout our community,” organizers said in a recent social media post.

On Friday, the Gainesville Black Business Impact Awards ceremony will take place at the Cotton Club Museum and Cultural Center. The expo will take place Saturday at the Martin Luther King Jr. Multipurpose Center on Northeast 14th Street.
