Bondi Orders Arrests After ICE Church Protest in Minnesota

(AURN News) – Attorney General Pam Bondi says federal agents arrested two people connected to last weekend’s ICE protest inside Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota. She announced on X that Nekima Levy Armstrong was taken into custody first, followed hours later by Chauntyll Allen. She alleges the two helped organize what she called a coordinated attack on the church. No charges have been publicly detailed as of Monday.

The protest unfolded during a worship service in St. Paul, where demonstrators marched down the aisle chanting “ICE out” and “Justice for Renee Good” – the 37-year-old mother shot and killed by an ICE agent earlier this month. Federal officials have said the agent acted in self-defense, though local leaders, including Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, have rejected that account and called for an independent investigation.

Armstrong has said the protest targeted the church because its pastor allegedly holds a leadership role with ICE, according to posts on social media. Bondi suggested more arrests could follow.
