Booker’s ‘Good Trouble’ Marathon: A Senate Stand Against Trump & Musk

Sen. Cory Booker is going full marathon mode, clocking over 13 hours and continuing on the floor, torching the Trump-Musk administration’s agenda. Booker took to the mic at 7:00 p.m. Monday and hasn’t let up.

The 55-year-old is bringing receipts and fiery criticism, ripping into Republican spending cuts, attacks on immigration, book bans, and what he calls a complete disregard for the Constitution.

“This administration has not only overseen in 71 days, a rise in , a rise in the cost of groceries, a lowering of people’s 401Ks, with the stock market going down. They are already hurting people on their basic delivery of their services.”

This is a political marathon rooted in the legacy of John Lewis’ “Good Trouble.” Senate rules say if no time limits are set, a senator can speak indefinitely as long as they can stay standing and keep talking.
