Diddy Denied Bail After Mixed Verdict in Sex Crimes Case

Sean “Diddy” Combs was denied bail following a mixed verdict in his sex crimes case, according to the Associated Press.

While a jury acquitted him of the most serious charges — sex trafficking and racketeering — it found him guilty of transporting individuals for prostitution under the federal Mann Act.

The hip-hop mogul, jailed since his arrest in September, faces up to 10 years in prison and will remain behind bars while awaiting sentencing.

The judge cited Combs’ violent past — including testimony from Cassie and another ex-girlfriend — as the reason for the denial.

Despite being cleared of charges that carried a potential life sentence, prosecutors say they will push for a “substantial” prison term, calling Combs a continued threat to the community.
