DOGE Tech Staffers Resign Over Musk-Led Overhaul

On Tuesday, 21 civil service employees resigned from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) led by billionaire Trump advisor . They refused to use their expertise to dismantle critical public services.

In a joint letter to Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, they stated: “We swore to serve the American people and uphold our oath to the Constitution across presidential administrations. However, it has become clear that we can no longer honor those commitments.”

The group criticized the hiring of unqualified appointees and raised concerns about security risks and the firing of colleagues working on essential services like and Veterans Affairs.

Elon Musk dismissed the resignations, labeling the staffers “Dem political holdovers” who refused to return to office. While White House Press Secretary downplayed the impact, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to government efficiency.
