Exclusive: Booker Announces Hearing With Epstein Survivors Ahead of Blanche Vote

WASHINGTON (AURN News) — Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., spoke exclusively with American Urban Radio Networks ahead of the Senate Judiciary Committee’s vote on the nomination of acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, announcing plans for a spotlight hearing with additional Jeffrey Epstein survivors.

Booker outlined his plans during an exclusive interview with AURN News.

“I’m announcing that here for the first time, we are actually going to have another hearing. Now, the Republicans won’t allow it. They curtail the time, they curtail the witnesses. So we’re going to simply have a spotlight hearing where we’re going to invite more witnesses, more experts to come and go deeper into why this candidate is so unqualified.

“We are not going to stop until we put more evidence out there, more transparency about his record, and try to hold Republicans who are thinking about voting for this person. We’re going to make it crystal clear why this person is not only unqualified for this position, that they have proven themselves a danger to the national security and a danger, frankly, to the ideals of justice.”
