Former Nickelodeon Child Star Kianna Underwood Dies at 33

(AURN News) — According to PEOPLE, former Nickelodeon child star Kianna Underwood has died at 33 following a hit-and-run incident in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Friday, Jan. 16.

The New York Police Department confirmed that Underwood was crossing at Watkins Street and Pitkin Avenue in the Brownsville neighborhood when she was struck by a black Ford SUV around 6:50 a.m. She was then reportedly hit again by a black and gray sedan.

Authorities said she was pronounced dead at the scene. Police noted that both drivers fled and have not yet been identified, and there have been no arrests as the investigation continues.

Underwood was known for appearing on Nickelodeon’s All That and for voicing a character on Little Bill for five years. She also worked in film and stage.
