Iran-Israel Tensions Explode: Over 150 Missiles Launched in Escalation

‘s operation “Severe Punishment” unleashed more than 150 ballistic missiles and over 100 drones at targets across Israel — a direct retaliation for earlier Israeli strikes on its nuclear and military facilities.

The unprecedented missile barrage followed Israel’s dawn-long operation “Rising Lion,” which struck two Iranian enrichment sites and reportedly killed top commanders and six nuclear scientists.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei described the operation as decisive and vowed no mercy, framing it as a righteous response to what he called Zionist aggression.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel struck to “damage Iran’s nuclear , its ballistic missile factories and military capabilities,” warning that the campaign will continue as long as necessary to neutralize what he called an existential threat.

President Donald Trump, speaking from the White House, urged to make a deal before it’s too late.
