Judge Dismisses Case Against Comey and Letitia James

(AURN News) — A federal judge has dismissed all Department of Justice charges against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James. The judge ruled that prosecutors failed to present sufficient evidence to support allegations of misconduct and abuse of power, effectively bringing the case to a close.

The decision marks a significant setback for the Justice Department, which pursued the investigation amid heightened political tensions over government accountability.
Both Comey and James issued brief statements following the ruling, saying they are relieved and remain focused on public service.
Legal analysts say the dismissal could influence future DOJ oversight cases and raise new questions about the limits of prosecutorial authority.
