Power Moves: Obamas Back Kamala As the Next Commander-in-Chief

Many were asking when it was going to happen. Well, former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama called Vice President Kamala Harris to formally endorse and throw their weight behind her as the next president of the United States.

“This is going to be historic,” said Michelle Obama.

“We call to say Michelle and I couldn’t be prouder to endorse you and to do everything we can to get you through this election and into the Oval Office,” added Barack.

The campaign turned the call into a video that has now gone viral on social media.

“I’m looking forward to doing this with the two of you, Doug and I both, and getting out there, being on the road,” said Harris.

And that she must because Sunday marks 100 days until the general election. Early polls show her neck and neck with former President Donald Trump as the Harris train keeps plowing ahead.
