Record-Breaking Zoom Call by Over 164K White Women Raises Nearly $2 Million for Kamala Harris

On the evening of July 25, more than 164,000 white women came together, setting a new Zoom record to raise funds for Vice President Kamala Harris. Known as “White Women: Answer the Call,” this unprecedented event became the largest Zoom meeting ever, causing the platform to crash, and generating nearly $2 million in under an hour.

Shannon Watts, a well-known activist, spearheaded the initiative, urging women nationwide to participate and invite others. The call featured influential speakers like pop star Pink and actress Connie Britton, who fervently endorsed Harris’s qualifications and campaign.
