Report: Trump Considering Commuting Diddy’s Prison Sentence

(AURN News) — President Donald Trump is considering commuting Sean “Diddy” Combs’ prison sentence as early as this week, according to TMZ.

The outlet cites a high-ranking White House source who claims Trump is weighing the decision and could act soon despite pushback from his staff.

TMZ reports that the White House Communications Office has denied the story, but the publication says it stands by its reporting.

Combs is currently serving a 50-month sentence for violating the Mann Act and has completed about 13 months.

With credit, he could be released in roughly two years, though a commutation would end his sentence immediately.

TMZ also reports that Combs’ legal team has been in contact with senior officials since his sentencing earlier this month.
