Trump vows to save flavored vapes if elected

Former President Donald Trump has made a long list of election promises so far, but on Friday, he said he’d also save flavored vaping options for consumers.

In recent months, Trump has made significant promises to voters ahead of the Nov. 5 election as he campaigns against Vice President Kamala Harris.

Trump has proposed to stop taxes on tips, Social Security and overtime wages. He’s also promised to save the Social Security program and the U.S. economy. He has proposed lowering the corporate tax rate from 21% to 15% for corporations that make products in America.

He’s also tried to lure the cryptocurrency crowd by launching his family’s cryptocurrency venture, World Liberty Financial, and promised to make the U.S. the crypto capital of the world.

On Friday, he promised to save flavored nicotine vapes.

“I saved Flavored Vaping in 2019, and it greatly helped people get off smoking,” he wrote on Truth Social. “I raised the age to 21, keeping it away from the ‘kids.’ Kamala and Joe want everything banned, killing small businesses all over the Country. I’ll save Vaping again!”

Trump’s tax promises could cost taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars over the next decade, according to the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget and the Tax Foundation. He has yet to lay out specific plans to pay for such spending.
