Vance, 41, and his family will visit the fort’s 30,000 active duty military on the border of Kentucky and Tennessee near Nashville on Wednesday afternoon.

Fort Campbell is home to the 101st Airborne Division, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, 5th Special Forces Group, and other Army units.

In addition to his family, the vice president will be joined by Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll and his family.
