Whisper Intel, Wall Stops: New AP Report Details Shocking Government Surveillance

(AURN News) – More than 100 million American drivers are being tracked on U.S. roads by Border Patrol’s secret surveillance network, far beyond the border, according to an Associated Press investigation.

If a car gets flagged, police might stop the driver for something as minor as window tint or an air freshener. What drivers don’t know, according to the report, is that these stops are part of a quiet system agents call Whisper Intel or wall stops – where the real reason comes from federal surveillance, nowhat’s in the rearview mirror.

This dragnet reaches into major cities like Chicago, L.A. and Detroit, raising urgent questions about privacy, profiling and constitutional rights.
