White House Drafts Election Order Amid Trump Criticism

(AURN News) — The White House is drafting an executive order aimed at strengthening U.S. elections and preventing potential fraud, citing concerns raised about California’s universal mail-in voting system.
The speaker claimed that fraud exists in California’s elections.

The speaker insisted it was “just a fact,” citing California’s universal mail-in voting system, which they claimed is vulnerable to fraud. The White House confirmed Tuesday that it is drafting new executive orders on elections, one of which could further restrict how Americans vote by mail.

Press Secretary Caroline Levitt told reporters the order is meant to strengthen elections. Her comments came just hours after President Trump criticized California’s ongoing redistricting vote.
He referred to Proposition 50, which passed on election night, calling it “rigged” and promising a “legal and criminal review” of ballots.
