All-female conservative bus tour swings through western states

(The Center Square) – Amid the political campaigning leading up to the 2024 presidential election, an all-women conservative group is touring the nation in a big, pink bus to encourage women to vote in this year’s elections. Concerned Women for America will be holding their next rally in Tucson on Wednesday as a part of the “She Prays, She Votes,” 12-state bus tour.

“The purpose of the rally is to encourage women to raise their voices on the nation’s most pressing issues, to vote, and to be active participants in the upcoming presidential election,” reads a press release from Concerned Women for America.

The rally will take place on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Masterpiece Event Center in Tucson. After Arizona, the tour is scheduled to stop in Nevada and Montana.

The women headlining the rally will include Annabelle Rutledge, executive vice president of Concerned Women for America, Tara Maldonado Oster, vice chair of the Pima County Republican party, Jessie Jane Duff, executive director of Veterans for Trump, Madison Eberhard from Young Women for America and Joanie Hammond, women’s ministry director at Calvary for Tucson.

According to the news release, Concerned Women for America is the nation’s largest public policy organization for women.

“Women across the country feel misrepresented by the media and misheard by politicians who don’t champion the values of faith and family and who underscore the need to protect the dignity of women and motherhood,” Rutledge said. “We are traveling the country to uplift these women’s voices, let them know they are far from alone, and most importantly, ensure they vote and elect candidates who champion our values.”
