Biden campaign has outraised Trump campaign in Colorado

President Joe Biden has raised the most money from Colorado of all presidential candidates, taking in $1.35 million since the start of the campaign cycle.

Biden raised $231,522 in January. Former President Donald Trump raised the next most from Colorado, with $1.19 million since the start of the campaign and $120,336 in January. In January alone, Nikki Haley (R) raised more than both Biden and Trump with $253,602.

Twenty-four notable presidential candidates, including those who have dropped out, raised a total of $4.9 million from Colorado donors between Jan. 1, 2023, and Jan. 31, 2024. Thirty-five notable candidates raised $35.3 million in Colorado during the 2020 election cycle, while 25 raised $17 million during the 2016 election cycle.

2,578 donors in Colorado donated to Haley’s campaign in January.Of those 2,578, the largest share, 822 (32%), donated between $25 and $49.1,547 donors in Colorado donated to Biden’s campaign in January. Of those 1,547, the largest share, 479 (31%), donated between $25 and $49.

Biden has raised 28% of the money donated in Colorado this election cycle. He received 55% of the vote in 2020. Trump has raised 24% of the money donated in Colorado this election cycle. He received 42% of the vote in 2020.
