Second, Biden advocates for term limits for Supreme Court justices, proposing an 18-year term, to prevent any single president from having undue influence over the court.
Third, he calls for a binding code of conduct for justices, requiring them to disclose gifts and recuse themselves from cases with conflicts of interest.
Biden emphasizes that these reforms aim to restore public trust and uphold the principle that no one is above the law in America. The announcement comes amidst concerns over recent Supreme Court decisions and ethics scandals.
