Democrats Walk Out of Epstein Files Briefing

(AURN News) — Democrats spent less than an hour in a closed-door briefing on the Jeffrey Epstein files before walking out Wednesday, accusing Attorney General Pam Bondi of dodging accountability.

“What we witnessed today was absolutely a farce. From the very beginning, AG Bondi has been obstructing justice. She has perjured herself multiple times and she has been withholding critical documents that would inform this investigation into a pedophile, into corruption, possibly quite deeper,” said Rep. Summer Lee, D-Pa.

The briefing was supposed to calm growing frustration over how the Justice Department is handling millions of Epstein-related documents.

Instead, it did the opposite. Lawmakers now want Bondi under oath, with a subpoena-backed deposition scheduled for April 14. Five GOP members broke ranks to support the subpoena, signaling pressure from both sides.
